Dr. Kane’s Training and Experience

Anyone who is considering cosmetic surgery should take the time to find a surgeon who is well-trained and properly credentialed. Dr. Kane received his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico. He completed a general surgery residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore and a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Florida College of Medicine Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Kane is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Anti-Aging Medicine.

In addition to operating his cosmetic surgery practice in Baltimore, Maryland, Dr. Kane stays active in the plastic surgery community through memberships in a number of professional organizations. He is also an associate clinical professor for the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital, has served on the Faculty Board of Dr. Zein Obagi and Obagi® Medical Products. Dr. Kane also founded and served as director of the Wound Center at Northwest Hospital Center. He regularly publishes work in medical books and journals, and frequently presents at conferences in Maryland and across the country.
